On November 14, 2019, Marianne Kampa, a student of Sciences Po Bordeaux (France) and Doctor of Sociology, Professor Alexander Novokreschenov met via video bridge.

Marianne Kampa is currently writing a dissertation on the topic: “The Functioning of the Federalism System in the Russian Federation on the Example of Novosibirsk”. Marianne conducted a remote interview with Alexander Novokreschenov to consult on issues related to government, the relationship between levels of government, budget, investment and regional development. Mr. Novokreschenov acted as an expert on these issues. Language support in the translation from French into Russian and vice versa was provided by the Master of International Relations Tatyana Peshkova.

In addition to the interview, Professor Novokreschenov spoke about how the strategic development plan for the Novosibirsk Region is being developed, and what is the role of the center in this development; what are national projects and how are they implemented in the Novosibirsk region; spoke about the development of medical tourism in the Novosibirsk region, the development of vaccines against various viruses and new technologies. At the end of the conversation, Alexander Novokreschenov invited Marianne to visit Novosibirsk.
