The Center of the Chinese Language of the Siberian Institute of Management, a branch of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, summed up the results of the Festival "My first hieroglyph", which was held jointly with the "Confucius Institute" of the Novosibirsk State University.

This year, more than 50 people took part in the competition not only from Novosibirsk but from other cities. In total, about 100 works were submitted to the competition.

The participants had to combine the hieroglyph with the drawing, using any technique and any materials.

The festival was held with the aim of popularizing the Chinese language and Chinese culture in Russia, as well as organizing vocational guidance work with schoolchildren.
