On October 8, a traditional meeting between foreign students and Institute’s management took place at the Siberian Institute of Management, a branch of the RANEPA.

At the meeting, the Director of the Institute Sergey Sverchkov, Deputy Director for Regional and International Development Nikolay Taushkanov, Deputy Director for Academic Affairs Nadezhda Kirilova, Deputy Director for Administrative and Economic Affairs Andrei Sakharov, as well as deans of the faculties made a welcoming speech. For the first time the Consul General of Uzbekistan Yusup Kabulzhanov gave a speech, wishing freshmen success in their studies and an interesting student life.

During the second half of the event, students introduced everyone to the traditions of wedding celebrations in different countries, accompanied by a joyful event with soulful songs, romantic poems and national dances. The final stage of the event was a game “Jeopardy!”, which demonstrated the high intellectual level of the participants at the evening.
